The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a N. Lawrence man for Attempted Murders that occurred on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 5:15 AM in N. Lawrence.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to a disturbance that occurred at a residence located on Caryl Drive. Upon arrival, Officers located two female victims, ages 18 and 48, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. Officers began to engage in life saving techniques to the two victims and they were transported by Nassau County Police Ambulances to a nearby hospital for assessment and treatment. Defendant Rodolfo Novello, 53, was found walking down Mott Avenue by Officers a short time later and placed under arrest without further incident. Both victims are currently in stable condition.

Defendant Rodolfo Novello is charged with two counts of Attempted Murder 2^nd degree, two counts of Assault 1^st degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th degree. He will be arraigned when medically practical.
