The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 10:23 pm in Uniondale.

According to detectives, a male subject entered the Valero Gas Station located at 940 Nassau Road.  Once inside, the subject displayed a handgun while demanding cash and then struck a male employee, 25, with the handgun.  The male victim complied and the subject removed an undisclosed amount of US currency from the cash register.  The subject fled the scene on foot towards Brookside Avenue. 

There were two employees present at the time of the robbery.  The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The subject is described as a male black, approximately 5’6” tall, with a thin build.
