Homicide Squad Detectives report the details of a fatal auto accident involving a motorcycle that occurred on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 7:31 pm.

According to detectives, a 46-year-old male operating a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle, was involved in a collision with a 34-year-old male operating a 1999 Acura four door sedan at the intersection of Front Street and Chester Street.  

As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by a staff physician.  The male operator of the Acura remained at the scene and was not injured.

The investigation is ongoing.
