The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred on Thursday May 26, 2022 at 10:34 pm in Mineola.
According to Detectives, a male pedestrian, 86, was crossing the roadway on 2nd Street at Roosevelt Place in Mineola when he was struck by a 2012 Toyota four door sedan color white driven by a sixty-year-old male. The male victim was transported to a local area hospital and is listed in critical condition. The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
