Fifth Squad Detectives report the arrest of two individuals for an Assault that occurred on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 3:20 pm in Valley Stream.

According to Detectives, Officers responded to a disturbance on Kent Road involving the homeowner. The investigation determined that Defendants Errol Stewart, 37, of 230^th Street, Springfield Gardens and Camille Hyppolite, 35, of Ascan Street, North Valley Stream were involved in an altercation with a forty-seven-year old male victim. During the arrest of Defendant Stewart, a Police Officer sustained an injury to her wrist. The male victim and Police Officer were transported to local area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

Defendant Errol Stewart is charged with Assault 2^nd Degree, Assault 3^rd Degree and Trespassing. He will be arraigned on Friday, June 3, 2022 in First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.

Defendant Camille Hyppolite is charged with Trespassing, Harassment 2^nd Degree, and Disorderly Conduct. She was released on an Appearance Ticket returnable on June 22, 2022 to First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
