The Homicide Squad reports an Attempted Murder that occurred on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 2:20 AM in Long Beach.

According to Detectives, an adult male was shot in the vicinity of 245 East Broadway and sustained severe injuries. Long Beach Police responded and the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim is currently in critical condition. 

The investigation is ongoing.

The above listed victim is identified as Humberto Manuel Francis Hernandez, 37, of St. Albans New York; he was pronounced deceased by South Nassau Hospital staff on Wednesday March 23, 2022.
