Police Recruit Graduation

          Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman and Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder will present certificates of completion to 59 Police Academy Graduates.

          The recruits completed 7 months of intense basic training at the new Center for Training and Intelligence.  Of the 59 graduating, 37 are members of the Nassau County Police Department. The additional recruits are from Hempstead, Freeport, SUNY Farmingdale, SUNY Stonybrook, Long Beach and the Sheriff’s Department. In addition to police recruits the department also has 2 Nassau County Police Medics graduating.

Media is invited to attend and are requested to arrive by 2:30 pm to check in with a member of the NCPD Public Information Office.  Recruits and Police Personnel will be available for interviews.
