The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 1:11 pm in Westbury.

According to Detectives, a 2020 Nissan SUV, operated by a 23-year-old-female was traveling westbound on Old Country Road when it struck an electric scooter operated by a 75-year-old-male that was traveling northbound on Post Avenue. Both operators were taken to local hospitals for treatment. The female operator had minor injuries and the male operator had severe trauma to his head and chest and is in serious condition. The investigation is ongoing.
