The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred at 7:25pm on Friday, July 8, 2022 in Lawrence.

According to Detectives, the homeowners evacuated their home and contacted Police after observing smoke coming from the crawl space of their residence on Harrison Street.  The Lawrence-Cedarhurst Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire that caused extensive damage to the home.  One fireman sustained a minor laceration to his hand, he was transported to a local area hospital where he was treated and released.  Nassau County Fire Marshall Giardino and Chief Beilinson were on scene.  

The fire is deemed non-suspicious at this time and is under investigation.
