The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Gun arrest that occurred on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 11:35 p.m. in Inwood.
According to Detectives, Jermaine Jordan, 41, of 13156 234th Street in Rosedale, was operating a blue BMW with multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. Police conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop on this vehicle in the vicinity of Burnside Avenue and Taft Avenue. Upon further investigation, Officers recovered a switch blade knife, a loaded semi-automatic pistol, and 20 plastic bags believed to be crack cocaine. Defendant Jordan was placed under arrest.
Defendant Jordan is charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Fireworks. He will be arraigned on Friday, July 15, 2022 at First District Court in Hempstead.
