The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Queens woman on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 4:20 pm in East Garden City.
According to Crimes Against Property detectives, Third Precinct officers were notified by Roosevelt Field mall security of suspicious activity involving credit cards. The officers observed the defendant Petrie Rice, 43, of 138-36 230th Place attempt to make purchases with fraudulent credit cards at both Pandora and The Pink Store. Officers placed the defendant under arrest and a consent search revealed that Rice was in possession numerous fraudulent credit cards.
Rice is charged with fifteen (15) counts of Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. She will be arraigned on Monday, July 13, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
