The Public Information Office reports the details of a Criminal Mischief that occurred on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1:46 am in Franklin Square.

According to Police, Fifth Precinct Officers responded to a Hancock Avenue residence for an automobile accident. Upon arrival officers located the vehicle and after a thorough investigation it was determined that an unknown subject, operating a small dark colored SUV had stopped in front of the vehicle and damaged it, then fled the scene southbound on Madison Street.

The Nassau County Police Department requests anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
