Homicide Squad Detectives are investigating an incident that occurred on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 3:48 pm in Hempstead.

According to detectives, Hempstead Police responded to a call for multiple shots fired at McDonald’s, 340 Peninsula Boulevard.  Upon arrival, officers found a 19-year-old male Hispanic who was the victim of multiple gunshot wounds.  As a result of his injuries, he was pronounced deceased at the scene at 3:54 pm. The investigation is ongoing.
