The Homicide Squad report the details on a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 12:56 pm in West Hempstead.
According to Detectives, a male pedestrian was crossing the street on Woodfield Road in the vicinity of Lindberg Street when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound. The victim sustained serious head injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced. The vehicle remained on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
