The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Hempstead man for criminal possession of forged instruments that occurred in Baldwin on Saturday, 05/28/16 at 2:23 P.M.
According to detectives, Bureau of Special Operations police officers, while on Maude St./Central Ave., conducted a VTL stop and found the driver, Kevin Patrick, 38, of 27 Byrd St., to be in possession of three fraudulent credit cards, a fraudulent North Carolina Driver License and (27) twenty dollar counterfeit bills. Further investigation revealed the defendant’s NYS Driver License had been revoked and he has a restriction for an Interlock device.
Patrick is being charged with six counts of Criminal Possession Forged Instrument, Possession Forged Instrument 3rd Degree, three counts of Possession Forged Instrument 2nd Degree, Aggravated Unlicensed 1st Degree, Op w/o Interlock Court Order and Improper Turn/Fail to Signal. He will be arraigned on Sunday, 05/29/16 in First District Court, Hempstead.
