The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred at 3:15pm on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Inwood.
According to Detectives, a female pedestrian, 68, was walking east on Bayview Avenue when she was struck in the crosswalk at Sheridan Boulevard by a male, 73, driving a 2008 Toyota Sienna traveling southbound.  The female victim was transported to a local area hospital by helicopter and is listed in critical but stable condition.  The male driver remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
