The First Squad reports the arrest of a Freeport man for Grand Larceny from automobiles that occurred on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 3:26 am in Roosevelt.
According to Detectives, Officers received several 911 calls for a man going through vehicles and multiple damaged vehicles on Soma Place and Maple Street. Police Officers responded to the area and located the defendant, Marvin Feeley, 32, of 63 Westend Avenue. During a brief foot pursuit, the defendant discarded the proceeds in a nearby yards before being taken into custody. These items were recovered and identified by the victims. No injuries were reported.
The defendant is charged with three (3) counts of Grand Larceny 4th Degree, two (2) counts of Criminal Mischief, Petit Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree and he was found to have an active warrant by the New York State Police. He will be arraigned on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
