The Nassau County Public Information Office reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at 5:20 pm in Mineola.
According to police, Third Precinct officers responded to 80 Windsor Avenue for a fire in the cabin of a 2014 Mac truck which caused diesel fuel to spill on the roadway.
The Williston Park Fire Department responded to extinguish the fire.  The Nassau County Fire Marshall, Town of North Hempstead and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation also responded to contain the fuel spill.
No injuries were reported.
