The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10:00 pm in Freeport.
According to detectives, a 28 year old male victim was walking near 90 South Main Street when two unknown subjects displayed two small knives and demanded money. As the victim reached into his pocket both subjects stabbed the victim in his right hand and right upper arm. The victim then fell to the ground and the subjects removed an undetermined amount of US currency from his pants pocket. The victim was transported by the Freeport Police to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Both subjects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Subject # 1 is described as a male black, early thirties, tall, stocky build, black beard, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. Subject # 2 is described as a male black, late twenties, wearing a blue jacket and a blue hooded sweatshirt.
