According to detectives, a male victim, 27 was walking northbound on Gardner Avenue when he was approached from behind by a male black subject at the corner of Dakota Street. The subject was armed with a silver handgun and demanded the victim’s money. As the victim placed his wallet and cell phone on the ground a second male black subject approached from behind and stood next to the victim as he knelt on the ground. Subject one picked up the phone and wallet removed the cash and returned the wallet to the victim. They fled southbound on Gardner Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash and the cell phone. The subjects are further described as being in between 20-25 years old, dressed in dark clothing. There were no injuries reported.
