The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a Queens man for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 3:15 PM in Massapequa.
According to detectives, officers responded to a call of a Larceny at Collectors Corner Coins and Jewelry located at 400 Sunrise Highway. Upon arrival, it was determined that the Defendant Adam Cornel, 47, of 80-12 Park Lane South, Woodhaven, took a watch valued at $22,000 from a table and concealed it in his bag. He was placed under arrest at scene without incident. The defendant was also found to be in possession of a fraudulent identification.
Defendant Adam Cornel is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
