The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Westbury woman for an Assault that occurred on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 4:30 pm in East Meadow.
According to detectives, police responded to Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) located at 2201 Hempstead Turnpike for a disturbance. While at the hospital, Defendant Sullethea T. Smith, 48, of 565 Church Street, became violent with hospital staff and began making terroristic threats. The male victim, 24, suffered a laceration to his left arm and an injury to his left shoulder, causing him substantial pain. Upon police arrival, Defendant Smith was placed under arrest without further incident.
Defendant Sullethea T. Smith is charged with Making a Terroristic Threat and Assault 2nd Degree. She will be arraigned on Friday, September 12, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
