The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Queens woman for a Grand Larceny that occurred between June 2024 and January 2025 in North Woodmere.

According to detectives, the Defendant Sarika Mangru, 48, of 11138 142^nd Street, Jamaica, was employed as a home care aide for a 90 year old female victim that resided in North Woodmere. During that time, the defendant used the victim’s credit card to make unauthorized transactions totaling approximately $30,000. On September 16, 2025, after a thorough investigation, detectives arrested the defendant without incident.

Defendant Sarika Mangru is charged with Grand Larceny 3^rd Degree, two counts of Grand Larceny 4^th Degree, Identity Theft 1^st Degree and Unlawful Possession of a Personal ID 3^rd Degree. She will be arraigned on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
