The First Squad reports on the arrest of a male juvenile for Criminal Possession of a Firearm that occurred on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 8:30 am in Uniondale.
According to detectives, a 17-year-old male juvenile was found by school security to have a loaded black handgun in his backpack as he attempted to enter Uniondale High School, located at 933 Goodrich Street. Officers responded and placed him under arrest without incident.
He is charged with the Criminal Possession of a Firearm and the Criminal Possession of a Weapon on School Grounds, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Youth Part of First District Court.
