The Narcotics/Vice Squad reports the arrest of two females for an incident that occurred on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 1:30 pm in Freeport.
According to Detectives, an undercover investigation was conducted at 30 S Ocean Suite. It was determined prostitution was being conducted at this location. Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives placed Defendant Yorgelis Riveros-Sanchez, 29, of 1231 Curran Street, Pennsylvania and Defendant Yennyfer Curieux-Merida, 35, 3124 81st, East Elmhurst under arrest without incident.
Defendant Yennyfer Curieux-Merida is charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession and Prostitution. Defendant Yorgelis Riveros-Sanchez is charged with Prostitution. Both Defendants were released on an Appearance Tickets returnable on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 to First District Court, 99 Main Street. Hempstead.
Further investigation revealed the Defendant Yorgelis Riveros-Sanchez is illegally in the United States and is subject to removal proceedings. US Immigration Customs Enforcement Agents (ICE) took custody of the defendant.
