The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of two Forest Hill men for Possession of a Forged instrument that occurred in East Meadow on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 4:40 pm.
According to Crimes Against Property detectives, Bureau of Special Operations officers were on routine patrol in the CVS parking lot located at 2419 Hempstead Turnpike when they observed a 2005 Audi repeatedly honking its horn. The officers after approaching the car on foot observed a clear glass pipe with a burnt substance believed to be Crack Cocaine on the center console. During an investigation the driver Artyom Saribekyan, 28 of 10523 63rd Avenue and his front passenger Vladimir Bychkov, 30, of 10819 63rd Road were asked to exit the vehicle. Bychkov was observed to have a NY State and a Pennsylvania driver’s license both with his photo in different names and 10 fraudulent credit cards. Saribekyan was found to have 12 fraudulent credit cards.
Further investigation revealed a blue hand bag in the vehicle that contained $ 10,500.00 US dollars along with 67 fraudulent credit cards. Both men were placed into police custody. There were no injuries reported.
Artyom Saribekyan is charged with 13 counts of Possession of a Forged instrument, Grand Larceny 4th degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.
Vladimir Bychkov is charged with 11 counts of Possession of Forged Instruments 2ND Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. Both men were arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday, April 15, 2016.
