The First Squad reports on an Auto Accident that occurred on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 7:20 PM in North Merrick.
According to Detectives, an 85-year-old male operating a 2005 tan Toyota Sienna was traveling eastbound on Jerusalem Avenue when it struck a 68-year-old male crossing the road near the intersection of North Drive. The victim sustained head trauma and was transported by a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital. He is currently in critical but stable condition. The operator of the vehicle remained at scene. The investigation is ongoing.
