The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10:15 AM in Rockville Centre.
According to detectives, a 37-year-old male was operating a 2003 Honda Motorcycle northbound on Lincoln Avenue and collided with a 2021 Ram box truck being operated by a 46-year-old male southbound on Lincoln Avenue, making a left turn onto South Forest Avenue. The 37-year-old male was transported to a nearby hospital where he is currently in critical condition. The 46-year-old driver remained on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.

The above listed victim has succumbed to his injuries and pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Kwabena Awuku of Queens.
