The Arson and Bomb Squad reports the arrest of a Freeport man for an incident that occurred on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 7:10 am in Freeport.
According to detectives, officers responded to a Broadway residence for an unknown male subject that caused damage to the property by throwing an explosives device on the lawn.
An extensive investigation conducted by detectives led to the arrest of Michael S. Brown, 52, of 106 Liberty Park Drive, who was found responsible for the incident and placed into custody on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Defendant Michael S. Brown is charged with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree. He will be arraigned on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
