The Seventh Squad reports the details of an Assault that occurred on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 8:50 p.m. in East Meadow.
According to detectives, the defendant Kimberly Trinidad, 28 of 60 Fredrick Avenue, Bayshore had been placed under arrest earlier in the day for petit larceny at Walmart in Massapequa. While being transported to detention Trinidad began to feel ill. A Nassau County Ambulance responded to the transporting officer’s location on Hempstead Turnpike, where the defendant was transferred to the ambulance for transport. While inside the ambulance Trinidad became combative and kicked the male Advanced Medical Technician in the face. The assisting officers were able to secure the defendant and transport her to Nassau University Medical Center for treatment of an unknown medical condition. The AMT was also treated for minor injury to his face.
Trinidad is charged with Assault 2nd degree and Petit Larceny. She will be arraigned on Saturday, February 07, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
