The Nassau/Suffolk Heroin Task Force reports the details of an arrest for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance that occurred in Hicksville.
According to detectives, the Nassau/Suffolk Heroin Task Force received complaints by local residents of drug dealings from a home located at 8 Clarissa Drive which is approximately 100 feet from the Old Country Elementary School. After an extensive investigation, on May 22, 2016 at 7:43 pm, detectives were able to place under arrest Teadekera Yarborough, 31, of 8 Clarissa Drive in front of her home. After obtaining a search warrant detectives recovered inside the house 9.8 grams of cocaine, 5.7 grams of heroin and several hundred small zip lock bags commonly used to package narcotics.
Defendant Yarborough is being charged with 2 counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance (near a School), Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. She will be arraigned on Monday, May 23, 2016 at First District Court, Hempstead.
