The Asset Forfeiture and Intelligence Unit report the arrest of a Bronx man for Reckless Endangerment which occurred on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. in Woodbury.
According to police, Darren Anderson, 23 of 4025 Grace Avenue was operating a 2009 BMW eastbound on the Long Island Expressway between exit 39 and 40 at a high rate of speed creating a substantial risk of serious physical injury to other motorists on the roadway. Anderson recklessly maneuvered his vehicle in and out of traffic crossing over multiple lanes while failing to signal, narrowly missing other vehicles.
Detectives conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of Anderson on Monday June, 20, 2016 at 7:15 a.m. in the Bronx.
Anderson is charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree. He was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket to appear on July 6, 2016 at First District Court, Hempstead.
