According to detectives, a male black subject, in his thirties, approximately 5’10”, wearing a green fatigue bucket hat, a green long sleeve pullover shirt and jeans, entered the Bank of America located at 792 Atlantic Avenue and presented a robbery demand note to a teller. After obtaining an undetermined amount of U.S. currency the subject fled the scene on foot eastbound onto Atlantic Avenue. There were three employees and three customers inside the bank at the time of the crime. There were no reported injuries. Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
