The Major Case Bureau reports the details of three arrests for possession of forged instruments that occurred in Westbury on Saturday, 05/21/16 at 1:00 P.M.
According to detectives, Michael Rosenfeld, 26, of 2414 Pitkin Ave., Brooklyn, entered Westbury Liquors located at 1250 Old Country Rd., and attempted to purchase liquor with a fraudulent credit card. The cashier refused to accept the card and notified police. The defendant exited the store and walked towards a waiting vehicle. Third Precinct police officers arrived at scene at found the defendant, along with co-defendants Devon Harvey, 28, of 540 Putnam Ave. and Dawon Hennegan, 29, of 668 Madison St., both of Brooklyn, to each be in possession of multiple fraudulent credit cards.
Rosenfeld is being charged with six counts of Possession Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. Harvey is being charged with twelve counts of Possession Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. Hennegan is being charged with sixteen counts of Possession Forged Instrument 2nd Degree. All three defendants will be arraigned on Sunday, May 22, 2016 in First District Court, Hempstead.
