The Nassau County Police Highway Patrol Bureau reports the arrest of a Deer Park woman for Reckless Endangerment which occurred on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 1:05 a.m. in Syosset.
According to police, Katie A. Hodgson, 18 of 234 1st Street, Deer Park was observed by a Highway Patrol Officer traveling westbound on the Long Island Expressway at a high rate of speed. The officer paced Hodgson, who was driving a 2016 Honda Accord, from exit 48 in Plainview to exit 44, as she travelled in excess of 110 miles per hour. Hodgson was observed making multiple unsafe lane changes without signaling. After conducting a vehicle stop the investigation determined that Hodgson was intoxicated and placed under arrest. She was also found to be in possession of two Pennsylvania drivers’ licenses in her name.
Hodgson is charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, Possession of a Forged Instrument 3rd degree, Reckless Driving, Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, and multiple vehicle and traffic violations. She will arraigned on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
