The First Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred at 12:15am on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in Freeport.
According to Detectives, the thirty-six year old male victim was walking on Lillian Avenue when he was approached by two unknown male subjects. The victim observed one subject armed with a knife and tried to run away, however, the subjects tackled the victim to the ground and took an undetermined amount of US currency and an ID card. They then fled the scene southbound on Jay Street. Subject one is described as a male black, 5’10”, 170lbs, black hooded sweatshirt, red colored sneakers and armed with a knife. Subject two is described as a male black, 5’10”, blue hooded sweatshirt and black colored sneakers. No injuries were reported.
