The Fourth Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, August 06, 2016 at 9:35 am in Woodmere.
According to detectives, a 73 year old male victim was parking his car in his Park Court residence garage when he was approached by two unknown male subjects. One of the subjects ordered the victim to put his hands in the air as he pointed a black hand gun at his head. The subject then reached into his pockets and removed a cell phone, paperwork, and an undetermined amount of US currency. The subject then searched the victim’s car and removed a black briefcase that also contained an undetermined amount of US currency. Subject two then went upstairs in the residence and pointed a black hand gun at the victim’s 71 year old wife while demanding cash. After explaining she had no cash both subjects then fled with the proceeds in a black Honda SUV observed heading west on Rosedale Road. There were no injuries reported. The investigation is ongoing.
