The Fourth Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 2:33 P.M. in Elmont.
According to detectives, two male subjects entered a second floor apartment of a residence on Louis Avenue through the front door. The female victim, 40, was in the bedroom when both subjects entered the bedroom. Subject #1 lunged at the victim with a sharp item and struck her in the face causing a laceration. When the victim yelled, the subjects fled the apartment and were last seen on foot northbound on Louis Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Subject 1 is described as male Hispanic, early 30’s, 5’6”, average build, brown hair, wearing dark pants, white t-shirt, white glove and armed with a sharp instrument.
Subject 2 is described as male Hispanic, early 30’s, 5’6”, average build and was wearing a black t-shirt.
