The Major Case Bureau reports the details of a Bank Robbery which occurred on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 2:08 p.m. in Merrick.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, a male black suspect wearing black pants and a gray t-shirt entered the Bank of America located at 2020 Merrick Road and handed a demand note to a teller. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were two employees and no customers in the bank at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.
