The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of three individuals at 6:15pm on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Uniondale.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, Nassau County Police received information regarding illegal drug activity on Front Street in Uniondale. Detectives initiated an extensive investigation that concluded with the Nassau County Asset Forfeiture Unit assisting in executing a legal search warrant of Wall Street Gold & Silver located at 1093 Front Street on Thursday, September 8, 2016. This search warrant led to the recovery of a rifle flash suppressor / silencer and a Smith & Wesson M&P rifle and the arrest of the following individuals: defendant Nelson U. Larios, 32, of 925 N. Central Avenue Woodmere charged with four counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon and defendant Michael A. Ebinger, 30, of 128 Guy Lombardo Avenue Apt. F9 Freeport charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon. Both defendants were arraigned in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead on Friday, September 09, 2016. The third defendant, Alexandria Hassell, 22, of 139 Lincoln Avenue Apt. 1 Mineola is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and was released on an Appearance Ticket returnable on September 27, 2016. In addition, summons were issued for violations of Town of Hempstead ordinances for operating an illegal second hand dealer/pawn shop.
