Major Case Bureau detectives of the Crimes Against Property Squad report the arrest of a Uniondale man for an incident that occurred on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 7:10 pm in Uniondale.
According to detectives, officers from the Nassau County Probation Department, while conducting a “Night Watch” operation at 1093 Front Street, entered the home and observed numerous credit, debit, gift and other plastic cards as well as card reader encoding machines, a credit card embossing machine and six computers. Milton Primer, 50, of the same address, who was not the subject of the “Night Watch” operation, claimed ownership of the belongings, picked up a box of several re-encoded cards and attempted to leave the house. After dropping the box, Primer was able to escape apprehension and fled the scene.
First Precinct officers who became aware of the situation located Primer a short time later, had him identified by Probation officers and placed him under arrest.
Primer is charged with five (5) counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument and Tampering With Physical Evidence. He will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 10/07/2016.
Further investigation involving the other property at the home to be conducted at a future date and additional charges will follow.
