First Squad detectives report the arrest of a Uniondale man for an incident that occurred on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:05 pm in Uniondale.
According to detectives, a 31 year old female, who responded to 830 Nassau Road, a residence where an agreement was made to rent an apartment on the second floor, met with Arnold Padgett, 56 of the same address. Once outside on Nassau Road the victim ran from Padgett to a nearby auto body shop and called 911. While waiting for police, Padgett walked into the shop, handed back her cell phone and debit card and stated, “You gotta pay me the money you owe me”.
