The Major Case Bureau reports the details of an arrest of a Queens man for Burglary that occurred on November 01, 2014 and December 20, 2015 in Lake Success and Saddle Rock respectively.
After an extensive investigation of residential burglaries, defendant Juan Morales, 36, of 32-18 32nd Street, Astoria was arrested by Burglary Pattern Team Detectives in conjunction with the FBI Cyber Financial Crimes Task Force, the United States Customs and Border Patrol and the Third Squad.
On November 01, 2014 defendant Morales entered a Horizon Road home in Lake Success through a rear glass door and removed US currency and assorted jewelry. On December 20, 2015 defendant Morales entered a Walters Place home in Saddle Rock through a rear glass door and removed an undetermined amount of US currency, assorted jewelry, assorted clothing and silverware.
Defendant Morales was placed under arrest with the assistance of Crimes Against Property Detectives on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at JFK Airport, Queens. He is being charged with 2 counts of Burglary 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Friday, October 21, 2016 at First District Court, Hempstead.
