Fifth Squad detectives are investigating an occupied burglary that occurred in Elmont on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 12:45 A.M.
According to detectives, four male subjects, armed with black handguns, entered a residence on 237th Street, by kicking in the side door, preceded to the basement apartment and pistol whipped the male victim, 28, on the back of the head, after demanding money. The subjects took an undisclosed amount of cash, jewelry, and car keys before fleeing the scene by unknown means.
The victim, who sustained a laceration to the head, refused medical aid.
Subject #1 (unknown race) is approximately 20-30 years of age, 5’11” tall, and wearing a white scream Halloween mask and black hoody. Subject #2 is a male black, light complexion, approximately 5’5” tall, 20-30 years of age, wearing a black or gray hoody and ski mask. Subjects #3 and #4 (unknown race) were wearing black or gray hoodies and ski masks. No further description is available.
