Major Case Bureau detectives of the Robbery Squad report the details of a Robbery that occurred on Sunday, November 06, 2016 at 3:57 pm in Valley Stream.
According to detectives, a male white subject entered Kidz Stuff, 205 Rockaway Avenue, approached a register employee while displaying a handgun from his waistband and demanded the cash register to be opened. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject left the store through the rear door and was observed entering a vehicle, believed to be a Ford Escape and fled the area.
Information received at the scene by responding officers and a subsequent investigation led them to an East Rockaway Road, Hewlett home where the subject was believed to be located.
After obtaining entrance into the house and conducting a search of the residence, the subject was not found and is believed to have fled prior to police arrival.
The subject was described as being 6’0’-6’2’ tall and approximately 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black cloth covering the lower part of his face and light colored blue jeans.

Major Case Bureau detectives report the arrest of Jason Shure, 25 of 167 East Rockaway Road, Hewlett for the above listed crime. He is charged with Robbery 1st degree and Robbery 2nd degree. Shure will be arraigned on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
