Major Case Bureau detectives of the Robbery Squad report the details of an Attempted Robbery that occurred on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 8:20 pm in Roosevelt.
According to detectives, while parked on Hale Place and about to make a Chinese food delivery, the 49 year old victim was approached by a male black who opened the passenger side door while displaying a handgun. The victim, realizing what was about to happen, started to drive away. The subject then fired four rounds at the fleeing vehicle and then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The uninjured victim further described the subject as being about 5’7” tall with a light complexion. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a dark colored mask across his face.
