The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Freeport woman for Grand Larceny which occurred in Glen Head.
According to Crimes Against Property detectives, in late October, 2016, Imani T. Tolley, 24 of 247 Lena Avenue intercepted a check mailed from Cooper and McCloskey Incorporated of San Francisco in the amount of $34, 727.60. On October 25, 2016, Tolley opened an account with the First National Bank in Glen Head at which time she deposited the check into the account and then proceeded to make withdrawals from the account.
Detectives conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of Tolley when she surrendered to detectives on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 7:05 a.m., in Westbury.
Tolley is charged with Grand Larceny and will be arraigned on Monday, November 21, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
