The Seventh Squad reports an arrest for Grand Larceny on Friday, November 25, 2017 at 10:50 p.m. in Merrick.
According to detectives, on August 7 and 8, 2016 Anthony Wilson, 24, of 147-07 228thStreet, Springfield Gardens, while employed at AT&T, located at 186 Merrick Road opened four fraudulent accounts for two unknown males and two unknown females. He gave these unknown suspects a total of 15 iPhone 6’s worth over $13,000. After an extensive investigation, detectives from the Seventh Squad arrested Wilson at the store. The investigation is ongoing.
Wilson is charged with four counts of Grand Larceny 4th degree, four counts of Falsifying Business Records 1st degree and four counts of Identity Theft 1st degree. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
