The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of two people for Burglary that occurred on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 6:15 p.m. in Bellmore.
According to detectives, Lauren Morales, 28 and Nicholas Laurenti, 20 both of 59 Smith Street, Hicksville entered the garage of a home on Lakeview Road where two male victims, ages 19 and 17 were playing video games. The defendants were accompanied by two additional unidentified male white subjects not yet apprehended. The defendants began to punch, kick and hit the victims with an aluminum bat in the face, head and body. After a short time the four fled the home in an unknown direction. The victims suffered contusion to the face and pain to their legs, but refused medical attention at the scene.
Morales was placed under arrest on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 8:50 p.m. in Baldwin. Laurenti surrendered to detectives at the Seventh Precinct on Monday, November 29, 2016 at 12:02 a.m. in Seaford.
Both are charged with Burglary 1st degree and Assault 2nd degree. They will be arraigned on Monday, November 29, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
