First Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Roosevelt on Wednesday, 11/30/16 at 8:52 P.M.
According to detectives, two male subjects, armed with a handgun, entered Dunkin Donuts located at 306 Nassau Rd., approached the two store clerks and demanded money. The victims complied, opened the cash registers and the subjects emptied the contents into a drawstring type bag that they had brought into the store with them. The subjects fled out of the same rear door they entered, into the alley in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported.
Subject #1 is described as a male black, 18-25 years of age, 5’7” tall, thin build, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with hood pulled down, dark pants, black gloves and carrying a lime green backpack. Subject #2 is 5’9” tall, 18-25 years of age, thin build, wearing a black ski mask and black gloves, armed with a small black handgun with silver slide, and carrying a red/orange drawstring type bag. Race is unknown. No further description is available.
